Let's talk about rest...

Hey there, Reader

I hope you had a restful and grace-filled weekend.

While out for a walk this morning, while all of our camping laundry was spinning at the laundromat, I went live on Facebook to share something that’s been on my heart. It’s been a tough week, maybe you’ve felt it too. I’ve been reflecting on Joseph’s story in Genesis, and how even when he was thrown into the pit, God was still with him.

If you’ve been in a hard season or just need a little encouragement, I’d love for you to check it out. Sometimes we all need a reminder that we’re not alone in the mess.

After that quiet time with God, I came home and got to work — prepping meals for the week and some flight snacks for my upcoming trip to Dallas! ✈️ It may not be fancy, but it’s full of nourishment and intention.

Meal prepping is one of the ways I set myself up for success — because when I plan ahead, I feel more grounded, fueled, and focused for everything else that comes my way.
